It was the last day of Year 1 at college today.
It's quite odd how attatched you can get to your tutors. Jon won't be teaching us next year, and I think it's fair to say that we are all absolutley devestated! I think I learned more from him than I did Mary. Fair enough, Mary taught us more, but Jon is the one that first got me thinking outside the box, and without that I'll get nowhere in this industry.
It's also quite odd how much you can trust someone after such little time. I have made some of my best friends this year at college. I know I'm not going to keep in touch with them all despite how much I'll want to; it's a hard truth we all have to face. People come and go. You sit and promise yourself it's not going to happen, you'll meet once a week for coffee and a slice of carrott cake, but things never work out as planned.
It's quite an odd thought that we won't be seeing the second years half as much anymore. They're what we've been working towards the past year, and now we're here, the only difference is that I'll miss some old friends. Liam and Rachel especially. They'll never be too far away though, with them going to local uni's and all that. I still hope to keep in touch with those two as much as possible, I wouldn't have got anywhere on this course without them.
